For the Maligne Lake collection, Rodika’s inspiration was the Group of 7 - Lawren Harris artist. He painted landscapes in a minimalist, graphic yet smooth way. The designs have strong-structured silhouettes, yet are still feminine. The collection is like a painting itself. The strong shoulders depict the mountains, the dark green - the forests, blue/gray - the sky and the lake, dusty pink - the dance between day and night.
